The Creativity of Lelia Davis Comes to Life at the Cottonwood Center for the Arts

Cottonwood Center for the Arts is more than just an arts organization. We promote the exploration of a creative life. Join us as we work to create a thriving arts district in downtown Colorado Springs as well as an environment for a thriving arts community, leaving a legacy of arts, culture, and beauty.

Cottonwood Center for the Arts in partnership with Vectra Bank at Plaza of the Rockies is thrilled to present the art of Lelia Davis. Lelia Davis is a Colorado Springs-based artist who works primarily in oil and acrylic paint. Using bold color with energetic brushstrokes and a palette knife, she paints the magnificent landscapes of Colorado and beyond.

Lelia Davis explained, “Combining art with my background in biology and interest in environmental conservation, the focus of my work is to depict endangered land and it’s delicate ecosystems. My art brings awareness to others about the beauty and fragility of our environment. In addition, a percentage of my sales is donated to non-profits and foundations dedicated to Colorado conservation.”

Whether it's through the process of creating art or enjoying art as a patron in the community, we want everyone to have access to the highest quality arts and culture our fabulous city has to offer. Don’t miss out on the chance to view The Art of Lelia Davis during this riveting exhibit on July 19th!

Even though Pikes Place on San Miguel Apartments in Colorado Springs, Colorado provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
