Get ready to rodeo! On Wednesday, July 10th, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo and Parade kicks off with four performances of invitational championship rodeo and a finals championship Shoot Out scheduled for Saturday. During this event, the best athletes in rodeo will compete for top prize money in bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding.
Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo and Parade takes place at the scenic Norris-Penrose Event Center — one of the finest places in the country to enjoy the sport of rodeo.
The Cinch Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo in Colorado Springs has been around since 1937 and highlights top rodeo talent and action, including bull riding, bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, women’s barrel racing and more. Tasty food and unique retail vendors are located throughout the venue. The family-friendly fun starts before the show with gold panning, pony rides, mechanical bull rides and more.
The 79th Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo starts July 10th with nightly performances through July 13th. All evening performances begin at 7:00 p.m. Grounds open at 4:00 p.m. for evening performances. There’s lots to see and do before the rodeo, and parking is free!
