The Buell Children’s Museum was recognized as the second-best children’s museum for art in the nation by Child Magazine. With innovative, hands-on exhibits focusing on the arts, science, and history, it’s no wonder the Buell Children’s Museum has been voted the “Best Museum in Pueblo” for over a decade!
The museum wants to know: have you made plans with the family for this weekend? If not, visit us at Buell Children’s Museum to check out the latest exhibit, ZOOM! Things That Go.
Explore principles of gravity and momentum by designing your own marble run on our magnet walls. Use wind power to propel a sailboat made of recycled materials on the water table. Learn about aerodynamics by folding various styles of paper airplanes and participate in our flight challenge. Cuddle up with one of our plush reptiles in the Lizard Lounge and peruse a book about “How Things Work.”
As always, our guests get to take home the art projects they make – so the exploration continues even after the visit is over. children under the age of four can explore and learn in the Buell Baby Barn, which offers a variety of age-appropriate activities in a fun barnyard theme.
Admission starts at $10 for adults, $8 for children (ages 3-16), and completely free to our Arts Center Members! Don’t miss out on a good, insightful Saturday.
