Chicago Has Touched Fans the World Over – Now, Bask in Their Glory During This Concert

Color your world with Chicago! On Tuesday, September 24th, the legendary rock and roll band with horns will visit Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts. Get ready to rock all night long when Chicago takes the stage!

Hailed as one of the "most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era" by former President Bill Clinton, rock band Chicago has recorded 36 albums and sold more than 100,000,000 records. The self-described "rock and roll band with horns" began writing politically charged rock music, and later moved to a softer sound, generating several hit ballads. The group had a steady stream of hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s.

Chicago’s lifetime achievements include two Grammy Awards; two American Music Awards; Founding Artists of the JFK Center for the Performing Arts; a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; a Chicago street dedicated in their honor; and keys to and proclamations from an impressive list of U.S. cities. An incredible 25 of their 36 albums are certified platinum, and the band has 47 gold and platinum awards.

Chicago has toured every year since the beginning - they’ve never missed a year. From the signature sound of the Chicago horns, their iconic vocals, and a few dozen, ever-classic songs, this band’s concerts are celebrations.

2019 marks the band’s 52nd consecutive year of touring, without missing a single concert date. So, don’t miss their stop at Pikes Peak Center! Tickets for the one-night-only concert range from $50.50 to $126.50 plus applicable fees. Tickets can be purchased online at or, at the Pikes Peak Center box office, or via phone at 719-520-7469.
